Sg 50s Wiring
Today I rewired my ’75 Gibson SG special to 50’s wiring using a orange drop for the neck and a Mallory for the bridge.
Thats what I still. Factory Style-SG-Metrics Wiring.
US Style US Style SG 50s Wiring with CTS pots. US Style SG 50s Coil Cut Wiring with Bourns pots.
. I was thinking about changing the wiring in my Epiphone Lee Malia Les Paul to 50’s Wiring.

I could decern a difference, and though it gave me more likable sounds with the volume and tone knobs turned down. I only modified the stock wiring to do it, I didnt change any components, so I can confidently state that the 50s wiring caused what I heard.

Hi, Has anyone among the SoloDallas bretheren out there removed a PCB from a Gibson LP or SG?
